Adult Development
Our Adult Development Program encourages each client to develop the basic
living skills that will enhance both a positive personal self image and his
or her own interpersonal relationships. We provide an individualized program
for each person. Goals are established to develop basic living, physical
fitness, and leisure time skills, along with creating opportunities for
independent living within the local community.
Programs are designed to include such things as:
- Simple work tasks
- Daily living skills
- Self-help skills
- Housekeeping skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Personal hygiene
- Handicrafts
- Community awareness
and involvement
- Recreation and leisure
- Health and fitness
